I stepped out of the office to grab a quick bite this afternoon instead of yet another can of soup at my desk. Wednesday and Thursday I worked 29 hours and thought I deserved a little break, even if it was just a burger.
An early 2000s A4 was at a stop sign as I entered the crosswalk. At first he remained stopped, and then when he saw me limp into the crosswalk (I slipped in the stairwell at the office and now have a rather sore hip - so much for trying to get more exercise instead of using the elevator) he gunned it, weaving to get around me. Fucker. I tried to punch his car as he drove by to let him know I wasn't amused by his asshole-ish impatience, but in my damaged state I couldn't move quick enough to give the little prick the wakeup he so desperately deserved.

Awful drivers all over today. I came close enough to see the poorly repaired accident damage on a guy pulling into my work without looking today.
